Bypass

Just after I passed by a woman who was selling Big Issue magazine earlier, I heard another woman say loudly (and clearly within earshot of the vendor),

Fucking hell, she's got a gold tooth, and she's selling the Big Issue? How do you work that one out??

Well, where to start?

How about something like, gold teeth and homelessness aren't mutually exclusive?

Yep, that'll do. Not too difficult, was it?

That's the problem with this world. People complaining about being broke before they've even tried to sell their teeth. I suppose the spoiled brat still has all her internal organs, too.

There was a "Spare Change" paper in Boston, the homeless could make a bit of cash selling it.

Yeah amazingly you can get a 'gold' tooth at an NHS dentist. It's called a crown and it isn't real gold. Imagine that. We're too good to the peasants eh? Sarcasm intended. Aren't people ridiculous? xo

Just to add my ha'penceworth - they just have gruel in the workhouse, don't they? So no need for teeth at all, really.

what I want to know is why she wasn't been sent up a chimney or down a mine to earn her keep instead of flashing gold teeth around the place.... disgraceful.
I mean selling the big issue on a street corner in all weathers how difficult is that.... duh!

Gets me when people pass the big issue sellors and say mine's at home, blah blah. They should just keep their mouths shut or buy another, what's £1.50 to them compared to what it is to the big issue sellor.

Remember the first rule of Mountain Rescue : always check what gear they have. Then nick it.

Like first aid, Zola - first check for danger, then a response, then money.

Gold crowns are free on the NHS. You have to pay for the white ones... Stoopid, ignorant...bleah
