Ce soir

Here's but a mild taste of some of the dramatic stuff we've been experiencing for the last half an hour or so round these parts. It's still going on, too.

Oh no, I love it b. I just wasn't expecting what was a pretty heavy storm (by this country's standards) in late April.

One post I never wrote was when I did a couple of hours cycling in a thunderstorm with torrential rain last summer - it was really exhilarating.

Oh, and no need to swap - you can just keep watching the video ;o)

Just closed my eyes and expected to hear a bass line followed by keyboards before Jim starts with Riders On The Storm. Think I'll find it right now.

I smiled at that, bikerted, since the rain and thunder reminded me of something also: when I first listened/watched, it made me think of the theme tune to The Prisoner.

Lovely - I thought I heard you clapping at the end, but perhaps it was just a click.

Yes just a click, signs - it always seems to happen no matter how gently I try and switch it off. But yes it was as grand as it was unexpected.

Wishing the weather had caused the postponement of our match last night. It was our only hope.

My word it's come to that has it j.j? Sounds like desperate times. I must admit I haven't read your recent footie related posts since I haven't been following recent developments too closely. Must rectify that though.

Oh lucky you to get the thunder, we just got the rain. Not that I'm complaining the garden needed it.

Yes fire byrd, the thunder certainly provided some excitement and drama. Still even the rain, as heavy as it was, would have been enjoyable were I able to sit and listen in a conservatory or a greenhouse.
