Sleepwalking

One of the frustrating things about being wide awake between 3am and 5.45am is knowing just how tired you'll be throughout most of the daytime.

I can only tell you that after the first 6 years or so you get used to it!!!
I can count on one hand the number of times I sleep a whole night in a year.
It is amazing how I cope on such little sleep sometimes.
Welcome to the club.

Hi fire Byrd, I did have a period of insomnia years ago under very different circumstances - this has just been the last couple of nights, being awake at a similar time. I wonder if it's the aftermath of all the hectic work-related stuff, and that it will settle down.

Fingers crossed!

I know what you mean, I had one of those nights last night. It's just so hard to get out of bed once your alarm goes off!

Sorry to hear that, deej - must be very frustrating, I'm bad enough after a couple of poor nights' sleep.

Sympathies to you too, trixie. I managed to get a much improved sleep last night, though pretty tired today (albeit in a less raw kind of way) since I could have really done with a lie-in..

4.46, and I've been awake since about 3. Usually it's a bit earlier in the night. Exhausting.

There are sometimes when it is good to go to bed wearing boxing gloves.
At other times it is best to avoid the boxing gloves.
The same applies to the day time.
