No he's not mine, FB. I was with friends who momentarily left the room, leaving me and this bear. He looked sad but comfortable. xx

Sorry, typos before.

He has the post-festive blues, but I know he will perk up, he looks strong!

I have just been watching a nature documentary (spring: episode 1)on BBC 2 about black bears, a baby bear that is heartstoppingly gorgeous. You can rewatch here http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00x9z7d/The_Bear_Family_and_Me_Summer/

That is next week's 'summer' episode I linked to but also a cute pic of the wee bear Hope.

nmj, "He has the post-festive blues, but I know he will perk up" - that Teddy is a mirror I think!

I'll check out that documentary. In previous ones I've seen, the baby bears are just as lovely as you describe.

Awwww... that is an exceptionally endearing bear. He doesn't look sad to me, just pensive.

Definitely endearing, Zhoen - but whichever emotion one transposes on to him, he was definitely striking.

I like him, Trousers. Teddy bears that become "real" always look a touch sad, I think. Touched by the world.

I know what you're saying, Signs.

On a rather more prosaic note, I only noticed him when one of the aforementioned friends had left the room, since said Ted had basically been used as a cushion. No wonder he's got that expression on his face.
