Dipping my toe in again

May I say that it's a rather refreshing change to be pretty hectic in that there Real Life thingy. Such a state of affairs will be continuing at least for the next few weeks, and I have a couple of things coming up which are potentially very exciting for me personally.

However, I do miss blogging - or, more precisely, I miss the interaction with my fellow bloggers - and so I aim to begin to incorporate bloggy-type things into my time once again: maybe in a low-key kind of way for a little while.

I should (well, there's nothing to say that I should: nonetheless, I will) point out that since I last posted here, I am now the owner of a pair of reading glasses, having been for an eye test for the first time in perhaps nearly a quarter of a century.

Oh, and I seem to remember saying last time that I would be catching up with a small number of people to whom I owe emails, etc. Have I done so? Bollocks have I. Oops. Hope no one's been holding their breath...

Never apologize for a letter, email, nor blog post, no matter how "late" you think it is. Just let 'em be glad they got it at all. Harumph.

Thanks Sophia, I like your enthusiasm! :)

Zhoen, indeed: I seek to explain not to apologise....

FB, yes - balance is what I seek, in all sorts of ways.

zola! You've changed! Oh, hang on...

I had a hard time understanding your post, thinking it some literary pose...that is until I read the dates.
Since this post and the previous post were just 24 millimetres apart, it didn't strike me that you had been absent for quite as long a time as you stated. "Ah," I said, "there's old Trousers trying to make a small interlude into a magnificent hiatus!" or something to that effect.

But it was the Time thingey you were referring to! Not the distance!

Yes, Montag, time not distance: I don't always try and be cleverer than is possibly good for me :)

Me, Hosen - I am holding my breath! Well not really, but you just put the thought into my head.

Well signs (lovely to see you by the way, and I'm aware that you've written a couple more posts, and I shall get to seeing them accordingly. Just easing myself into things gently), there may soon be some more Misreading the Signs posts here, since I have been doing plenty of that.

I know that that's a bit of a non sequitur by way of a response, but let's just say I'm out of practice :)
