It sure is, fire byrd, and thank you for saying as much. The words stem from some moments of melancholy over the weekend (the she in question being both my mother and grandmother, for different reasons), so I thought I should post them. x
summer may be gone but will be again x
Summer never likes to overstay her welcome but we all yearn for her return in the depths of winter.
"This too shall pass" - next summer is on its way. :)
ach, but we are in the long months that, where february lasts until march...hope and light
Thank you all - you're all correct, of course. As mentioned above, this was basically a needed pause for some melancholy thought...it concerns time of life more than anything (I'm ok though!).

All seasons in their proper place. The wheel turns, summer goes - summer comes. Grand metaphor for the turning of time, and mood. The fun bit is it keeps going round and round. So, Mr fire sign - enjoy your element even in the melancholy winter. A bit of passion by the fire side for example... bit hard with your mum and gran watching lol ...but they cant see inside your head ;o)
and yes I do understand this was not about weather - it just gave me an excuse to talk about passion and fire. Subjects close to my heart.

qv, I do actually love the winter, - especially this year since we've actually had some proper cold weather and even a sprinkling of snow. I've been walking around in it for a few hours today taking lots of pics (soon to follow). But yes, as you know, this isn't about the weather (comments about passion and fire duly noted though ;-) ).

I'm gonna wait until the morning comes untill the morning comes.

It is also about weather. Trousers, can we start an I Love Winter club or something? We can begin with taking dozens of photographs.
Course we can, signs - this will be on top of the "misreading" club which has been founded on another recent post.
