Fireworks

Been meaning to post these up for a while, they were taken during a thunderstorm (obviously) between around 9.30 and 9.45pm in late July. This was not long after I got my digital camera and I was stood at the back door filming with a mixture of patience and excitement. Thanks to a friend of mine I've discovered at last how to convert the images into stills and into jpeg format.

Yes indeedy, but why?. Mind you, while I do enjoy a good thunderstorm, I was a bit worried at first because it was so near that the thunder was really rattling the windows at first. Exhilarating all the same.

Hahahah, hello ario! I wouldn't have thought there was much you could do with these actually since they're at such a low resolution: you're welcome, of course, all the same :)

I'm sure I could try and see if I could convert them again at a higher res, but whether I get round to it with these ones is another matter.

Hi dj, and thank you so much - two awards in one week! I will come over and pick it up accordingly. You're ever so kind :)

do you have a fancy expensive camera? I'm needing to buy a new camera and am open to advice.

(ps I am a little worried about ario's photo stealing addiction. we should get him help asap)

It's not fancy or expensive, http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000NOSC30/ref=nosim/coffeeuk23713-21

have a look. It's basic, cheaper than on the link I've given (if it works) and I've not had any problems with it so far.

Very good pixie! Shame I can't put the thunder sounds on as well really.

By the way, I think the sequence of the pictures I've posted, from the first to the last probably lasts about a tenth of a second.
