All swings and no roundabouts

An eloquent riposte to the political betrayals (and chief betrayers) and ideological u-turns that are setting Britain on a course for bleak austerity.

But are the people who don't have a clue the politicains or the media? Cause not sure there is much between them.
Appearantly one of the ambitions of the education dept is to outdo David Blunket for changes in education. Which of course would be fine if they didn't just suggest new policy and then not have a clue what the implications are of the same policy, as admited by Michel Gove the other day.
I realise this comment is longer than your post but that's ok.

xx

PS I'm glad your my friend too

Good question! I think the politicians are creating a climate of fear with the harshness of these cuts and policies, and I don't think too many of them really have an inkling of what it's going to be like for those affected...those without money, stability, security, all of which will be undermined so much more.

As regards the media, I think they're amplifying the climate of fear - which is what they're good at.
