I'm playing again soon, and this time some of it is going to be more guitar-based. I was a bit concerned that my fretwork might be getting a bit too arthritic to hold it together, but I don't seem to be doing too badly.

Rock On! And eat cranberries, ginger and cinnamon to aid any onset of athritis.
Wow. I like. Any chance of some (well all og it actually) of 'The Devil went down to Georgia'? x
Trousers me old : It seems that you have an Irish streak within.
Love it I did.
Well it's not Barry Manilow is it???
( read post!)
sounds good though
xx
I wish I could do that.
Aye, lakeviewer, though if I were trying to be clever I'd say more like "rock" on, it feels more like I'm paraphrasing it if you see what I mean. Perhaps I won't try to be clever.
Thanks for the tip too: although I do wonder if I'm noticing some early signs of arthritis (as opposed to being a total hypochondriac about it), my description of my guitar playing isn't meant to be quite as literal as I made it sound. Still, I do drink plenty of cranberry juice and have ginger in my food...
Deej, thank you. I would have to look "The Devil Went..." on youtube/spotify to even remember it, I'm afraid to say. I may yet do so.
Thank you too zola - if there is an Irish streak, it's as yet unknown to me though :)
Fire Byrd, I was just reading/commenting on your post around the same time you must have put your comment here. Credit where it's due to Mr Manilow, the fact that he's a Tom Waits fan. I can't deny him that.
zhisou - well now you can, with Fret With Trousers - the self-help approach to guitar playing. Or perhaps not...
LOVE the vid. is fab. how about 'you RAWK!'?? is that ironical enough? :)
you should post more vids.
(word veri: grander!)
RAWK may be just as ironic as "rock", but there's something (for me) more geekily detached about the latter, which suits. I'm being pedantic about this, clearly :)
Thanks for the other comments too, B, much appreciated.
