I was going to do a rant about V********s Day, but I really don't think I'm all that bothered about doing so. It was going to be a good excuse to use a terrible title though, something along the lines of Anti Valentine's Day Macassars. Never mind. Maybe next year eh?

But! I, amongst others, did get one of these - well, two in fact - the other day, thanks very much to queen vixen and pixie: nothing to do with V********s Day either, but why shouldn't I mention it today?

I'm away for the weekend, going to see a good friend of mine for intelligent conversation, a sing-song at the piano and...nah, chances are we'll get rather pissed, and I'm looking forward to that especially since I won't be turning up to work on Monday bleary-eyed and groggy: mainly because I'm not at work next week.

So if I do post anything at the weekend, I wouldn't expect it to be anything approaching coherent. Time will tell...

Brought tears to my eyes that did, lav. I think merk has made reference to his site on at least one occasion, I must go over and have a(nother) look :)

So glad you liked your 'smacker' - valentines day? well its a bit of a farce isnt it! Its a bit of a rip off of Imbolc when the Goddess as Maiden is introduced to the God as Youth, and stuff happened. Its a good day for the card industry and the restaurant trade but thats about it. Bah humbug!

PS Send me a 'boozy' message - want to see how incoherant and pissed you can be. Lets face it Trousers, two bottles of champagne, a bottle of red wine and two bottles of beer did not stop you being extremely eloquent and unpissed at the blog party. Seeing is believing!

Don't tell me that is ALL you can drink..hopefully the 'drinkie-poos' police won't be counting, this time.

Hope you had a great weekend and that the hangover isn't too overwhelming! I have put up N3S's songs on my lazy Sunday post. Try not to wince as you read them...

I was too busy - as well as boozy - to do much blogwise at the weekend qv, but I'm sure there'll be plenty of other opportunities for boozy messaging.

Nice to know I was eloquent anyway - I can't entirely remember ;-)

Hi lav, I'm not really sure what my limits are these days: certainly not as much as they used to be, that's for sure. But you know how it is (if that's not too presumptious) - some nights you can drink loads and be fine, other nights you can drink half as much and be out for the count. The latter option, at least, costs a lot less :) Oh, and no pictures thankfully!

Yes dj it was good, thanks. I did end up having quite a lot to drink but at a very relaxed pace, which was all well and good and no hangover to speak of. I did like N3S's lyrics as well!
